Amityville Horror - we’ve all heard the story, read the books, and watched the movies. But have you heard the real story of 112 Ocean Avenue? The true horror of that home is far more sinister and interesting than some spooky place with a so-called pig demon looking into the windows.
The DeFeo family - Six family members were murdered on November 13, 1974. And the murderer was the only surviving family member - Ronald “Butch” DeFeo, Jr. Or was he? Join in as we discuss this crazy family and try to get down to the bottom of what really happened. Jessica provides all the details, and you get to decide. And yes, we will cover the Amityville Horror we all know and love as well — but we’ll challenge that too!

Fire in the Sky: Travis Walton UFO Abduction
Tuesday Jun 06, 2023
Tuesday Jun 06, 2023
It’s our 10th episode and we are exploring some new territory as Kendra brings you our first story about UFOs!
In 1975, seven loggers out in the Arizona forest experienced a life changing event as they witnessed a UFO on their way home from work and one of their crew, Travis Walton, went missing for 5 days. When he showed back up, he had an incredulous story of being abducted by aliens. Walton’s story was used as the true events basis for the 1993 movie, Fire in the Sky.
Of course, there is always controversy in the cases we choose to cover on Lucid Lab and this one is no different. While Travis and his 6 co-workers' story has not changed over the course of 48 years, there are still those who believe the whole thing was a hoax to make money.
What do you think? Listen along and hear the details from both sides to draw your own conclusion!
