This week we are going back to one of our earliest episodes, the first true crime story that Kendra covered. We originally had this split into two episodes but with the remaster, you can now here the whole story in one sitting.
The I-5 Killer, Randy Woodfield, was on a rampage stretching from Washington to California in the early 1980s. He was terrorizing victims daily, sometimes even more than once in a day. Those that came into contact with Randy never knew what might happen if he walked into their workplace on I-5 He could just be there to rob the place and leave or if you were one of the unlucky victims, you would be subjected to his twisted sexual assaults and sadly in the worst case, you might not make it out of the encounter alive.
As of today, we still don't quite know how many victims Randy is responsible for but it is estimated to be anywhere between 18-45 young women. Thankfully, he is locked away in prison for the rest of his life.
Listen now for all of the details around this monster that unleased horror on so many young women along the West Coast.
